The mirrors and fuel door are overlays, so they're actually the same weight (technically more since he'd be adding material). But since the mirrors and fuel door are plastic, I doubt CF would actually weigh that much less.
Progress seems to be well, but I'm not sure as to the time frame of when it will be ready for production.
