i was told march. If i really wanted to i could have the very first one but i would rather the guy putting this altogether take the glory since he would be helping me out since i want one. give the glory to who gives the effort.

I don't know where you came up with that--mine is fine. I haven't heard of anyone else complaining about the finish either. There were some problems with the latch but not the finish.
