Thinkmoto, think haha. Seriously it looks like you have had a bad experience or two. Ford does not equal crap. As far as the third gen RX-7, 100k miles and they are dead. I work on cars on the side. Believe it or not the newer fords are one of the better cars/trucks I have worked on. Volkswagons have bad cats, window regulators, and manuel trannys, hondas have electrical issues if they are a luxury version, dodges are crap period. I drive the living snot out of my car and have not had engine failures, yes my axles have broken and the clutch died early but it was due to my driving not the car. Ford makes good car and trucks. OK rant over...

My wife rented one last summer and she and my son loved it. The v6 would be a requirement though, otherwise she is all show and no go.

No, all that matters is the name! A furrin name, but built by American workers with American parts is a furrin car! A car built by slave labor in North Korea but badged as a Ford, Chevy or Dodge is as American as apple pie! Don't you get it?
