I guess I meant why did he think he had to remove the fuel rail COUPLINGS. Naturally, you have to remove the fuel rail but you can leave it connected to the fuel line. I always take the fuel rail off when doing a UIM/LIM cleaning. I remove each injector and install new O-rings. No point in getting that far and not doing the whole job.
