DaveNC, I can relate to what you said regarding not wanting to sound like an old truck and not wanting to be LOUD. I am also in my fortys and want a nice deep, resonant tone just a bit louder than stock but do not want my SVT to sound like it's breaking wind, like all the little cars with 6" muffler tips do. I'm considerating doing what you have done or getting the Brullen quiet system. Have you done anything with the stock y-pipe?
