Still haven't gotten my borla muffler back on..

I talked to Demon about it a while back. I still haven't gotten under there either. it looks like your muffler fits perfectly, as I thought it would myself..I had an expensive fu$%er do it for me and he clamped straight pipe in because, "the borla muffler doesnt fit well in there because of the car's heatshield" =

Did you have any trouble with that, SVT Darin? For background, I didnt have the passenger tip welded (pre 98's have no passenger hanger), thats why I took it to someone to get it done.

This is pissing me off all over again.

But glad everything turned out well for you the second time.

I did have to bend the heat shield away from the muffler in a couple of spots. It also took 2 re-adjustments to get every thing right and rattle free.

what model # is the magnaflow muffler on the trubenz system >?

because i have a 4" round 2 1/4 inlet/outlet and 2.5" core about 14-16" of tubeing and 19" of total length that replaced the stock resonator and my exhaust sounds like and import and i hate the ballzy sound i lost when i removed the stock resonator and replaced it with the magnaflow pipe.

Since its a non-res system does it sound "ricey" at high rpm, because when i removed and straight piped my res before my car sounded like a two stroke at high rpm's i hated it, i just have a glasspack in it now but it sounds great.

Keep that old exhaust. With a new set of mufflers, that system would be reusable. You may be able to sell it to a less fortunate CEGer.

True to what Stazi said. Even the tips look great still.

Unless you tossed it already
