The dvd burner is about 2 days old got it new off of Newegg.com. the software i am using is Intervideo windvd 4 (5.1 channel) I tried using a program that came with the burner called interactive but it wouldent support 1280 x 1024 resolution... or any other resolution i tried now that i think of it.

And another thing is that this is all on a fresh install of windows about 1 day old... the computer is not connected to the internet... and thats about all i can think of. and the disk is as good as new... no scratches



I have EXACTLY the same problem !! I switched from Intervideo to CyberDVD ... now it's much better. I still have some trouble with 1280x1024 though, so I usually go down to 1024x768...19" TFT's aren't the best for movies unless you're rich!
