You know, with the simple acquisition of a GM Performance Parts catalog, the solution is in your garage. Seriously though, is your only beef with the GM truck the soft brakes? For about a grand that problem is more than rectified (pony up $4500 and get Baer Claw Extreme 6-piston calipers and 14" crossdrilled, slotted, zinc-washed rotors). Though with that edgy theme going on the Silverado, I'd have to buy a Sierra. GM drivetrain is killer and while interior might fall short of F150 standards on design and layout, the number of options (especially the steering wheel mounted controls) give the nod to GM IMO.
