The Magnaflow cat back for my 99 Cobra was only $100.00 more. It was stainless steel and came with 2 mufflers not 1. The Flowmaster catback for my 95 GT was less than $300.00 and was the same quality as the Magnaflow - good fit no pipe adjustments neccesary and clean cuts.
You are forgetting the demand for a Mustang cat back is much greater than our cars and has a bigger market. My trubendz fit fine except for one pipe so i took it to a shop and the guy welded the whole system on the side for $60.
