I had some fitment issues too. But I sent it back and got a new one. They have excellent customer service. the pipes fiot tight for a reason...grow a pair and they'll fit together. Once mounted weld it solid. Thats what I did and I love my Trubendz.

Mine is T-red also. I just bought it 2 weeks ago so you probably haven't seen it around yet. I live on Acworth Due West Rd. about about 1/2 south of Stilesboro. If you know the road it is a yellow house set back from the road that had a huge 150 year old oak come down in the front yard.
I need to see your car sometime, whoever had mine before me hacked up some of the wires that go to the fuse panel and the battery terminals and I would like to see how they are suppose to be from the factory.

"Grow a pair and they will fit together".....that's some great advice why didn't I think of that (slaps forehead). Thanks for your help and your intelligent reply.

There is a difference between fitting tight and not fitting at all, and if they fit tight I wouldn't have started this thread.

Debured the pipes and they still don't even come close to fitting. It's not a matter of them going in a little it's simply a matter of them not going in at all.

Because I am a newb I can't reply to your helpful / informative post. Because I bought 2 other cat-backs that fit fine I can't let others know they might need to get the pipes expanded if they buy a Trubendz catback. Flame away all you want! Reply to my thread with "grow some balls" and I am just suppose to think "I am a newb I can't reply to that".

I already said my original heading for this thread was a little harsh and I already said Trubendz is standing behind their product and will make things right, which is more than most manufacturers will do.

Unless you have something helpful to ad why even post in my thread.

Because I support Trubendz 100% and I know some have fitment issues but they always get them resolved in a quick manner. So instead of whining and bithcing take it up with Josh at Trubendz. And I'll post all I want in your pointless thread you whiny little [censored] if you don't sense sarcasm then you need to take a step away from the computer and chill the [censored] out..... so if you had other cat backs that fit why are you installing a 3rd????

Have you read anything at all I have posted in this thread

I already said this twice D O I N E E D T O T A L K S L O W E R F O R Y O U ? ? "Trubendz (Josh) is standing behind his product 100% and is going to make things right with the exhaust he sent me.",and as JCSVT pointed out they were catbacks on other cars which is also in this thread twice.

It's very simple you are a tool. You come into this thread, read bits and pieces of my posts, get all fired up like I am bashing Truebendz and you call me a whiny little [censored]. If my thread is so pointless why waste your time posting in it. I to will probably support Truebendz %100 after I get the pipes expanded and install the exhaust. From now on I guess if I buy something for my car and there are fitment issues I won't let people know. No wait, I have a better idea. If I start a thread why don't you not read it becase you can't tell the difference between whining and providing information.

First off let me say I have first hand experience installing this similar exhaust on my car. Let me ALSO state that I had this "fitment" issue. It's not a fitment issue, rest assured; take your time. They don't need expansion, you need to insert them directly in and Straight. Have a friend help hold them as you do so, in fact, twist them together and straighten after. I'm telling you this now before you pay someone to expand the pipes!

Thanks for the advice, but the pipes do need expanding, just a very little bit but they need it. A friend was over earlier helping me remove the old exhaust, and we tried everything. Filed the edges some more, checked all the ends of the pipes to make sure they were straight, sprayed them with wd-40. Tomorrow morning I will call Autozone to see if they will loan me an expander if not my local muffler shop will take care of it.
