With all of these posts about jobs and money, I noticed one thing. YOu don't make [censored] if you live in Michigan!!!!! How the hell do you guys live????? What do you pay for rent? I share a 1 bedroom apt with my gf and we pay 885 a month. It is in the Bronx, 15 minute subway ride to work in manhattan. We don't need to have a car although we will now be putting ours back on the road. WE just moved from an apartment that we were paying 1775/ month for.

given that i live in orange county i think i have just about everybody beat in the good deal dept. i pay $425/month and i live above a great little fifties type cafe. directly across from the probation department office(no housing) with the sheriffs dept substation inside. about a mile down the road is the main sheriff hq and the santa ana police hq.

I pay $915/month in rent + about $300/month in bills for a bd/2bth 1700 sq ft house located south of Portland, in Oregon's beautiful wine country.
