They CANNOT compete. That's the problem. There's no way that a mom and pop can compete when they've got a small shop on Main St. that's 30'x100' and have a small but reliable customer base. Hell*Mart will bulldoze acres upon acres of good forest land to build their monument to consumerism, draw traffic away, and use their unfair and unethical business practices to draw people away.
my point being WAL MART= 20000000million stores( ) REX=262. We obviously dont have the buying power of wally world but our corporate point of view is they will gladly lose money on some items to gain customers from a competitor who might buy something in addition with a higher profit margin...and unfortun. mom-n-pop sometimes dont have the same point of view
