A coyote ran across the road yesterday morning in front of my car pulling out of my neighborhood. My neighbor also found a 3 ft rattlesnake sitting next to his a/c compressor this week. Just part of living in Texas.

Don't see them that often, just hear them...
Coyotes are the only animal (that lives in georgia) I can't recall ever seeing. Have heard them plenty, especially when camping.

I heard a pack of them back in November at about 2:30am. Bone-chilling. Scared the CRAP outta me!

I've seen foxes and wildcats in AL, even armadillos but can't say i've seen a coyote either. Seen a couple of guys that resemble them though!

Yeah, the best we ever heard was from the balcony on our third story window...
Growls, ripping of something, screeching, that was scary.
It sounded like some satanic ritual in the woods behind our apartment complex, but no, it was coyotes killing an animal...

Yep, I hear you man. They don't sound like animals to me. They sound like humans making animal noises. I had these images of Wolf-people or something. I was going to get my gun out because it sounded like they were just over the fence. But since the fields are so flat, I think their sounds just carried through the air. Still, guh!
