From my sawed off hunk of Y-pipe 180 bend and merge section:
The 2 legs of the Y are each 1 3/4" ID. They are crushed and merged into a 2 1/2" collector. I believe the stock 2.5L exhaust is 2" ID from the back side of the cat all the way to the exhaust tip.
