I read somewhere that stainless is the absolute worst, and foam aint much better. Can't really beat good ole cotton with oil. There is always that possibility of over-oiling though.

I was looking at doing this (then I totalled the car)
Does anyone know how long this lasts before you have to change it?
Is says maintance free, no oil. I would expect that you need to change it at some point vs. filters that can be re-oiled.
