I'll bet even money that you strip the teeth off of 3rd gear, and then after you fix it, you'll split the block in half.

If my headers will ever get done, I'll have a pair of T3's on my 94 Cobra. I'm leaving the motor untouched, because at 233rwhp stock (dyno'ed at 90k miles too) I'm sure 12psi will have me knocking on the door of splitting my block too.
I'm just mad because my headers were supposed to be done in October . . .

I would guess around 275 at the wheels. Now If I had an Ed curtis cam, some injectors and a good maf it could be around 320. Before I had a gt-40 heads and intake and the car put down 254 and 311tq. I was going to use that combo then when I had a valve job done on the heads I found out they had been milled down to a 49cc chamber. Boost would have lifted those heads off the block in no time.
"Trade!!?" I will be buried in this car.
Brian- Who is making your headers? I would have left my whole engine stock but this summer something happen to my 50,000 mile shortblock. We are not sure if it was the oil pump went out then ate the mains or had blockage somewhere else. You are probably right on with the t-5. I am surprised it held together at the dyno. I haven't decided to go with a tremec or a g-force trans.

Dustyn,

How long did it take you to get your kit? I was looking at a Proturbo kit but at the time, there were horror stories about delivery times, broken promises, etc.

They told me it would take about 40 days. It took about 160 days. You will run into this with any turbo kit company that I have ever seen. I heard latley that pro turbo kits are having problems also. From the research that I have done is that the problems begin with the vendors. Backordered wastegates, silcone hoses things like that. Consider yourself lucky if you get all your parts and there for the right car and without the company going bankrupt before you recieve the parts.

Yeah. I got sick of the horror stories and just bought a Kenne Bell 1500 off a guy on the Corral and called it quits.
I don't have the HP and TQ you have but it's plenty for me at this point. All I need now is a WB02 and some TwEECing and I'm done. Congratulations on your numbers. I can't even begin to imagine what it feels like. Well, maybe if I add a N20 "intercooler" I could imagine

BTW, How do you like the Maximum Motorsports stuff?

Smart purchase. If only the 5.0 lifter valley was as deep as the 4.6's . All the parts really helped out but since I have added weight in the front I think it feels nose heavy in the front and thats even with aluminium heads and the battery in the trunk. I guess if I want handeling I'll just hop in the tour.

Windsors definitely get screwed in the IC department when dealing with positive displacement artificial lungs.

You think you've got it bad regarding weight. I'm still running with stock heads and the KB assembly adds 70lbs high up on the car.

I've decided that even if I spent kilobucks on my '78 Ford Fairmont suspension, it still probably wouldn't have combination of ride and handling that my tour does. I went with the Bullitt springs/03 cobra struts/bilstein shocks/global west rear lca/global west cc plates on my '91
I may go to H&R race springs and Cobra UCA and then call it quits on suspension this year.
