Okay - my son is coming home this weekend and he said he has a 32mm impact socket.
I've got a couple of follow-up question: Once I get the axle nut off and disconnect the lower ball-joint, am I gonna have to loosen the upper strut attaching point so that I can push the axle stub out of the knuckle, or is that not necessary?
And the manual shows a special attachment for a slide-hammer to pull the halfshaft - do I need this tool, or can I just tug on the halfshaft and it'll slide off the intermediate shaft?
