The only way the Contour Revolution will stay alive is by pioneers willing to experiment and take the next steps!!! Exactly! I have been following this thread too. I would like to eliminate using the superchip that requires us to pay for reburns after performing certain mods. Keep up the good work.

I am also interested in this thread, but have nothing to add. Especially since it will be quite some time before I am to the point of spending money on something I "want" as opposed to something I "need" (and I don't need to play with my timing right now, but I sure want to!).

My tach adapters are apparently not the right ones for the duratec application, or they are faulty because the car won't crank with the tach adapers wired in. I didn't have time to fool with it much this weekend, but I'll have to pull out the tach adapters and send them back to MSD for testing....or they may just give me some different ones to try. Anyways, thanks for the interest and I'll be sure to post any new info as soon as I find out.

I'm watching too. I ordered a SAFC to take care of the fule, hoping that you would get the MSD worked out for the spark, Though i just relised i may still need a chip to get rid of the speed limiter on the SE

Hope I'm not beating a dead horse, but I have my Jacob's on and I'm getting error codes as well. P0352. Removing the Jacob's with any purpose other than to replace it with one that works or MSD is not an option. After seeing and hearing the difference it makes on my car I can't do without. Jacob's has not contacted me yet on how to remove the code permanently or whether the unit is to blame. I will not drive around ignoring this code. There is a small company that ignored their error messages, you might have heard of them: Three Mile Island. Ain't gonna do it.
I'm really interested in finding out what happens with MSD on this because if your problem is resolved and Jacob's does not contact me I will replace it with an MSD. Thanks!

He sent back the msd unit and sold the car in favor of a 4.6 GT. Msd seemed to think they could get his problems worked out by changing out the adaptors or something.

Get the new revs of the tach adapters. Same part numbers from MSD but make sure you get the new ones. Call MSD and ask when they changed them. Works like a champ with the new adapters. The old ones don't work without throwing codes.

Thanks Chris! If the Jacob's gurus can't help me I may have to go with the MSD.
