The control box is working. I'm getting no wierd tach variations, no misfires, both rev limiters work, and the car is still fully advancing timing despite the error codes (My car advances the timing by like 50* with or without the box..WOW!!) Apparently the tach adapters are not the correct ones for this application. I don't understand enough about what causes the error codes. If I knew systematically what would cause the ECU to throw those particular error codes, then I would be able to have a much more detailed conversation with MSD. I wonder if the ECU is throwing the error code because it is sensing a drop in voltage on the hot wire going to the coil? This thing has to work....it just needs some help.
