Well i heard that from my friends father who works there, so I don't really doubt him, super cars are expensive, so it isn't too suprising that acessories are.

where was that at? i was reccomending they install a paper towel dispenser next to the GT while up at suburban the other day. i wsa trying to convince my brother to sell his fleet and invest in just that car...

No way in hell I would be taking that car to the dealership unless they had a very experienced mechanic working on it. I would also be pissed that I sank that much money into a "supercar" and it has those pathetic recalls.

Well they haven't sold that many GT's so maybe their sending out the experienced mechanics to fix it.
It is a recall. Don't you have to have it done at the dealership??

My bet is that Ford sends GT specialists to the dealerships that sold the cars, so that the owners don't have to have their GTs trucked off somewhere and so they know that it's not just Joe Mechanic wrenching on their $150K+ machines.

If I owned that car I would be thinking like Cameron from Ferris Bueillers Day Off; 'it could get scratched, a piegon could $hit on it, it could get breathed on wrong' The ONLY thing that sucks about the Ford GT is that Ford have to service/perform recalls.

I does kind of look like it but I can't see enough of it to really tell. It does look like the interior door panel of the drivers side is gone.

I think you're just seeing reflections of the engine bay crossmembers and components off the rear glass, Stazi.
