Thanks guys,

I guess I was just being skeptical since I got it so cheap.

I may see about smoothing it out a bit. I think it would make me feel a little better.

I know I'm probably being picky (I usually am) laugh

Really I haven't ever seen one and wouldn't really know if I was getting the real SHOypipe so I guess I was making sure of that as well wink

Thanks for the help

Yes any of those lips and imperfections will hurt power...

Yes that's the build quality from SHOShop in a nutshell...

So Demon what would you suggest I do about them?

Exhaust shop, or a dremmel...etc Some of them are hard to reach, would a Exhaust shop have better tools to smooth it out?

An exhaust shop just isn't going to have the tools to clean those welds on the inside up. If you ask them they'll look at you like your nuts or something. If you want it done then you'll have to do it yourself. Just be careful about taking to much of the weld off with a dremel. If its welded inside and outside then taking off the inside won't hurt a thing. But if its inside welded only, then you'll have to be careful not to remove to much weld or you'll weaken the joint. I can't see those guys just welding only the inside so you shouldn't have any problems cleaning it up your self. Just do it.

In my opinion just clean up some of the weld and you'll be just fine.
Sho-Shop never did the best jobs.
I believe seeing shorter bends like that so I wouldnt worry. (nothing a exhaust shop cant solve)
The U clamps suck though... i ditched mine and bought some band clamps from JC Whitney (On-line)
I did have a wrong size clamp behind the cat and ended up welding it in though.

Justin, congrats! Good buy, good price! I'd suggest just trying to file those things down yourself, as an exhaust shop probably could give a crap less. So, you're probably going to do a better job. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy it! smile

Take a die grinder or dremel and clean up the insides as best as possible.

You will want this to be welded together. The clamps will leak.
