Fooling a competant inspector might be tough. Fooling somebody that has no clue or that won't complain about the headers would solve that problem. Failing would suck, since it would mean re-installing the OEM manifolds. Should have no problem with the sniffer test.

Yeah, if I were in CA, I'd have done the mystery mod. I should pass a sniffer test, but not a visual. Good ol' NM plates.

Right, I would reg the car in Ore. at my sons address, but the local PD will stop you after 90 days or so and make you re tag instate ... Can always do all the mods and take my chances on the smog techs lack of knowledge of SVT equipment .. thanks jj
