when i put my exhaust on and take the old one off.. will i have an extra rubber connector that i will be able to use between the passenger side muffler and the hanger? i made the bracket and ordered the taurus hanger from the how-to already.. this is the only thing holding me back.

No, you should use all pre-existing rubber isolaters. You will need an additional one to hang the passenger side muffler. This what I encountered when I put mine on. Hope this helps.

i got the svt exhaust from bill jenkins. it came with everything i needed for the install. it bolted right up in a half of an hour. sweet huh? did you make the bracket yourself? it sounds like you have everything. just remember to disconnect your battery to reset your computer and enjoy!

Sorry, I thought it was there. I thought that was where I found it when I helped a friend install the SVT exhaust on his 96 SE. I know that I found it somewhere here in the CEG site. Unfortunately, he did not save the receipt so I cannot check to see what we bought.

Hey Goatis,
You can go to Advance Auto and get the rubber hanger. I got the ford one when I put my SVT exhaust on but Advance Auto has the same rubber hanger by the tailpipe section. Its just not red. Rubber hangers are rubber hangers. If its not the exact height then modify the metal hanger by drilling a extra set of holes like I did. Works fine and gives you some adjustability to work with as well.

Regards,
Dave Anderson
