My dad owns a 96 explorer xlt, fully loaded. He treats it like crap, never changes the oil on time, never fixes it until something completely breaks. It hasn't given him any real problems yet, besides the tranny failing. It has 168,000 miles on it, mostly highway. Runs nice, nice car to drive. I'd buy it.
