Well its that time again, you know, when we get together and freeze our asses off at the D&B's winter meet. Last year was a good turnout with about 22 cars, including TWO Chicago CEG-ers! The year before that was the coldest meet EVER! It was -5 actual and -20 windchill factor (or is it windshield factor
) All the cars with just white with salt, rollin' steelies and/or just plain filty. It seems we've lost some members over the year, but have gained addtional ones, so I'm lookin' forward to putting some names with faces
For those who don't know where D&B's is (Dave and Busters) its located at M-59 (Hall Rd) and M-53 (Van Dyke) Basically its in the NE corner of M-59 and Van Dyke and your going to want to take the street where the McDonalds is and follow it down and D&B's is on your left. This meet was originally put together to have something to do before the Super Bowl, seeing that Lions will never get there
I'm thinking everyone could start showing up around noon and we'll play it by ear when to go in, but expect to file in around 1:30 or so
Even if your Tour is off the road for the winter season, like mine is, show up with your beater, we've had some classic beaters show up...remember G8Rides Civic
