The miata is not that heavy yet. Even the Mazdaspeed MX-5 is only 2540 pounds (and that is the most a miata have ever weighed) and from what I have been reading they are trying to keep the NC under that weight

I saw the pontiac version of that car at the D.C. Auto show and I will be keeping my eye on it for when it comes out.



Sorry, what I meant was with 170HP and it's 2800 lb curb weight, it should have comparable performance to the Miata. In the twisties, I suppose we shall see, but it would have to be pretty good to keep up with the Miata.
