But that costs taxpayers! Just plug her and save us the money.

Anyone know that Hank Jr. song, "I Got Rights"?

If she somehow gets out in the general public, she needs to take the advice, "you better get you some corks."

Anyone know what her husbands position has been through all this? I don't presume to know what he's been through, but I imagine if I were him, it would have been real hard not to kill her.

I would too. But he maintains that she was just 'psychotic on that day' and he supports her completely. He says she is just ill. Tosser! Anyone killed my dog, let alone my child would be torn limb from limb....

Why does the article go on to tell us how she's doing?

"She smiled and said she was basically just kind of in shock," said Todd Foxworth, warden at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Skyview Unit, who delivered the news. "But she was very happy. Physically and mentally, she's doing as well as I've ever seen her."

She should get 5 fingers across the face everytime she smiles. The first police officer on the scene should have had an "accidental" finger slip on the trigger of his handgun.

I have to ask, why do people spend so much time worrying about these isolated cases of psychos killing their kids, guys killing their wives, etc.? Yeah, it's tragic and horrible, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't affect us in any way, shape or form, and there are a lot more important things going on in the world to worry about. /soapbox

although I somewhat agree, the question is....what if it did affect you? Sometimes I feel the same way about the tsunami, but then thats not the right attitude to have.

Just on a side note, I'm pretty sure the death penalty actually costs taxpayers more than a life sentance in a jail.

This "sinper" would be no better than she.

Sniper kills 1. She killed 5. I think he comes off pretty good.

Cost of living in jail...$0
Cost on taxpayers... $26,000/yr
Cost of a bullet... $1
knowing you saved taxpayers thousands and killed a very sick person that murdered her own children....priceless
