How much will the rocker arms, springs, valves, etc... cost? I'd be buying these cams if they're $75 each!

That way they can hook them up to their machine that will measure the cams attributes, and they can accurately see what they have to work with.

I know i posted on here asking if anyone had a set of stock cams to lend to the cause, but I never got any responses. Crower is a short 75 minute drive from my house. If anyone has a stock set of cams they can lend me, then ship them to me, and I will get the ball rolling with Crower.....

IIRC, Crower wants a $7,500 minimum order to become a dealer and get wholesale pricing. Thought about it long and hard with a 0% interest for 6 months card application staring up at me. Kinda around the same time the Aussie bar fiasco was going on so I chickened out. Good luck to you Nikolas. BTW, you'll have a PM in a few seconds...

Guys,

the thing is, just about any cam shop can do a cam-regrind to your desired specs (within the phyiscal limits of the core cam of course). I was fortunate enough to pick up an industry magazine that lists manufacturers by the parts they make. I jotted down some companies listed under Cams that are located in SoCal. I will be calling them up today to see what they charge for regrinds, and if they require any rediculous amount for "Buy-In".....

As far as Rods go, I have one company so far that looks promising, and they are cheaper than Crower, and dont require that huge buy in either. I am still waiting for responses on pistons though, and of course cams..... I will keep everyone updated...

Guys,

Bad news. I spoke to Piper today. They have made cams for the Duratec, the new Ford 4 pot 2.0 litre is called a Duratec and this is the one in the magazine. All I can do is apologise, it gave no clue in the smal article in the mag. Dman fords in giving the Duratec name to a 4 pot, they'll be calling a diesel a Duratec next.

Sorry for getting all your hopes up
