Excellent find Paul. The BP270 sounds interesting - maybe minimal low end losses & "reasonable" idle?? but would probably work great with the Extrude Honed SVT heads/intake if custom burned chip ups the redline & optimizes A/F + spark.
So, do you need to pull heads to change cams?? Install cost??

IIRC, Ford dealers get 10-12 hours to swap cams... Unless your engine is out or planned on being out, not a cheap upgrade. Just FYI, Crower regrinds are $300, no over seas shipping to deal with. Now we might be able to send them some specs though...

Nobody ever made a big deal about it... Been looking for an extra $300 since then, but still have yet to recieve a banking statement with a $300 error in my favor. :p

$75 per cam is a steal! Anyone remember what that aftermarket company (can't remember the name) wanted for SHO cams? It was well over $1000 for the kit.

I wonder what kind of HP gains would be seen on an SVT with an aftermarket exhaust and a high-flow air filter???
I also wonder what these cams would do to the car's torque, esp. if headers (not long tube) were installed...
I wouldn't be surpised if some new cams + exhaust + high flow intake + tuning (e.g. Apex computer) could yeild some pretty nasty results, e.g. + 25HP on an SVT...
Also, I wonder what it would cost to have them make a custom grind which matched the SVO cams that David Z put on his 3L, as that clearly seems to work effectively (on the 3L anyhow)

I am in the process of looking into setting up a distributor account with Crower. If the prices on their rods are competitive with other manufacturers, then I my as well ask them what I need to do to get cam re-grinds avaiable. I remember in past discussions with them, they always wanted me to bring a set of stock cams to their place. That way they can hook them up to their machine that will measure the cams attributes, and they can accurately see what they have to work with.
I know i posted on here asking if anyone had a set of stock cams to lend to the cause, but I never got any responses. Crower is a short 75 minute drive from my house. If anyone has a stock set of cams they can lend me, then ship them to me, and I will get the ball rolling with Crower.....

I might in the near future. I'm trying to part out my departed SVT but the salvage yard is giving me a hard time. I didn't know I should have kept the car.
