Fast Ford UK April edition, Piper cams have developed after market cams for the Duratec, $560 new, $280 for a re-grind. Fast road and rally profiles available, claiming at least +18bhp:p

The BP270 looks like an interesting grind for our needs. I couldn't find a listing of engines they grind cams for or a price list.

They are brand new out, I only know as I read Fast Ford today.

I will phone them Monday to get more info. Piper are well known in hte Uk for performance cams. I had a 285 road / rally cam in an old mini many years ago.

The article also said that they can supply cam followers and uprated springs etc. laugh

i plan on doing the 3.0 block swap later on down the line. will these cams help that also or will my compression already be too high?

i don't know much about engine work so if what i said doens't make any sense please take that into consideration.
