Killer. Piper make some GREAT cams people. Their street cams are very well respected in the VW world and hard-core racing world. They make cams from street cars to F1 and NASCAR..
This is great news!

Is that price for each cam or for all four? If it's for all four of them, it's mad great deal! I wonder if BAT will carry them once they're finally released?

While I agree Piper are a well known, quality parts munufacturer & tuner in the UK, I would like to see some specs and, more importantly, hear the opinion of Mr. Haines re: those specs and our motor/profile. I assume some additional tuning would be required - an A'Pexi S-AFC might be enough, but with a lack of adjustable cam gears for our cars, I'm a bit leary until more info is available.

I wouldn't be too worried w/ the lack of adjustable cam gears. Good cams can be thrown in w/o them. As long as timing is set right. Plus, if you really want them, I wouldn't be surprised if they make them in the near future since they are the only company to make aftermarket cams.
I'm more interested in the prices they have on their website and what is included. Is that a pair of intake/exhaust or single cam, etc. That kind of stuff. I'm thinking balanced rotating assembly in a 3.0 w/ superchip/accusump for higher revs w/ that 285 spec cam would be a screamer.
Evil thoughts...

It really depends on how well you match your engine to what mods you have. On our cars I have no way of knowing due to the fact that no one has them. I'm definitely looking forward to getting a set if they work well.

The price is for all 4 I believe. I will phone them tomorrow to try and get more details. I have a mate you used to work for Piper, now he works for Cosworths as a F1 engine man with Jaguar!! Anyway, at least it looks like we have an alternative to just the std Ford SVT cams.

Tell him he's not very good at his job, cause Irvine was getting lapped like he was standing still yesterday. :p wink laugh

In any case, for $580 for all 4, w/ the right specs, color me interested.

The fact that you can pick which cams you want and you don't have to install the whole set, I would say your options are quite open, just look at what setup you want (i.e. forced induction, N2O, NA) and see which cams would suit you best.
