Luckily the resale values of the Miata are strong. If you can negotiate a good price out of the Miata, you might be in decent shape regarding negitive equity. The Miata is a pretty strong little car with excellent reliablity. I think they gave me $3,000 for My mint SVT with higher mileage (98,000) toward the purchase of my Miata.
