So most of you are saying that you don't buy Monster cables because of marketing "hype". I for one have yet to ever see a monster TV, radio or print advertisement here in Canada. And its a Canadian company that's the #1 retailer of Monster. That means only two things: 1)Sales people here believe in it 2) Lots of word of mouth from customers.
If you don't like companies that have aggressive advertising then you can't shop anywhere. Lets make a list of other companies that do the same thing.
Wal-Mart Circuit City Best Buy Futureshop Johnson & Johnson companies (talk about a huge company) Progressive Insurance (I can't go through one TV show from the US without seeing at least 3 commercials) Ford GM Chrysler Every single television station Sony Panasonic LG Sprint (telephone services) Cingular Covergirl Dell (!!) Radioshack Rogers (Canadian communications giant, cable, internet, wireless) GAP Old Navy McDonalds Burger King A&W Wendy's AT&T
The list can go on forever. All the big companies spend just a much on advertising "hype".
This is getting ridiculous. If you don't like a company'sproduct or the way the company works, keep on shopping somewhere and keep it to your self.
The reason you like to sell Monster cables is because they pay a better comission to the sales person. If the crappier cables had a better comission than the Monster cables you push those harder. Bottom line you just push the Monster for the comission.
