Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Troubleshooting Trunk release button on the key fob

I apologize, I was wrong
I got my old fob out (ironically it still panics, locks and unlocks)
It made the clicking noise from under neath the glove box whenever I hit the trunk release after I switch the trunk switch from mechanical to button release.

Now heres the problem, do I have to replace my solenoid or motor or what?
I am going to go see if I can remove the motor and clean it up or something
