I will be in for the meet as well. My car still has some bugs in it, but I'd like to hang out. I am here in Cary. Where exactly is the meet at?

we haven't exactly figured that out yet. i'm assuming since most of you guys are out in the Raleigh area that's where it will be. I know there's a lot of places up there we could meet up at it's ust a matter of someone out there picking a spot and going with it.

blk00svt, i'm out here in fayetteville as well, off ramsey street near methodist college.

I'm in Wilmington, I'd like to go but someone needs to get on the ball and pick a time and place. That's less than a week. What's the plan? Dinner? Just sitting in a parking lot somewhere?
I'm very involved in another board, and we do weekly meets. I don't think I can convince my boyfriend to skip that if all we're doing is an hour of hanging out in a Denny's

The places I've been in raleigh are hooters(prev meet with bevan) and rdu. So I don't know what is up there a mall would probably be a good place to meet up since it big and probably pretty easy to find. Once everybody gets up there I was thinking around 1 or 2 ish go out and cruise around cause its definately rare to go out cruising with some other svt's. If this sounds ok then somebody in the raleigh area pick a location to meet.

Current list:
1. loganb
2. blk00csvt
3. aaron
4. streetdreams.
5. hsoverma
6. litljenarey(?)

I am having difficulty going through all these messages and finding this info, so what date/time was set for meeting?

I have two suggestions, depending on time of day and date. Both places are near a lot of food venues.

Suggestion #1
My workplace has a pretty big parking lot and is empty after 5:00 PM on weekdays. Since I manage the place I don't have to ask anyone's permission but me.
It is near I-40 and I-55 in RTP.

Suggestion #2
Also, the church building that I attend church at is pretty big and is empty except on wednesdays and sundays. It is right off of I-40 near the Airport, off of Airport Boulevard (head away from Airport) I will have to check with Church Office but I dont think this will be a problem.
Let me know quick on this one.

Well as Hal pointed out I can make either one of those locations and they are fine with me I dont mind either sitting around or doing stuff. And nice to see all the new people.

umm, if we go to the church am i going to have to watch my language?

seriously though, either one of those locations work. sitting around BSing in a parking lot can be fun for a little bit but after an hour or so then what...a cruise? dinner? does someone have a back up plan if it rains? do we hold the meet if it rains at all? just things that came rushing to my head all of a sudden.

I would say the church building is easier to find than my work. If this is cool with everyone, I will get permissions tomorrow and let you know. I am 90% sure this wont be a problem.

I still dont know what time and date you all were considering, but here is my suggestion.

I have never done a meet or been to a meet before so I really dont know how much time we can spend shooting the bull about our cars, so tell me what you think about this:

Meet at 4:00 PM this coming Saturday Feb 26 rain or shine.
(we will pray for shine)
Shoot the bull and look at each other's rides
Spouses/Boyfriends/Girlfriends encouraged to attend!
Anyone else who wants to come should come as well.

Eat at 6:00 at the Mall Food Court across the way.

About 7:30 head out on the freeway and cruise up and down capital boulevard, then go home. Capital is good place to cruise, lots of others cruising, plus a Ford Dealership along the way.

Head home after cruise or do whatever you want.

Let me know what everyone thinks.

hey aaron, I was thinking if the meet is at 4 then we should probably roll about 3 head up 87 to 1 up to 40. Old walmart in spring lake is on the way, so 2:50 meet there then roll? You know anyone else with a csvt in the area?
