God Emporer is the Best one!

New Movie Idea:

Multiple film series (like Matrix,Lord fo the Rings)

Have the Wachowski Bros write them with imput from Brian Herbert, as they have a grasp on SciFi/Fantasy and the Geo political/eviromental/philysophical worlds

Director: Peter Jackson of course (Big Picture Guy,whocan handle multiple films

What do you think?

Millions of people have read the Dune books.............

Here's a bit of OT.

I was a big Dune fan as a kid, but never got into the Rings series. Basically, I was a sci fi kid. I tried reading fantasy stuff, but it just never clicked with me.

So, is this common? Are there a lot of "either-or's" out there? Is "Are you a Duner or a Ringer?" a valid question?

Anyway, judging by Peter Jackson's success with Rings, he'd be a good one to take on Dune. It needs more than one movie to capture it all.

I was not that impressed with the LOTR series either. I was also more into Sci-Fi. I like some fantasy and more of it now but still can't get into LOTR.
