Stock offset is 49.5mm

So 35mm is ~2/3" less. Thus meaning those rims would likely rub on the struts. They definitely would not clear the brakes though.

Stock 16x6.5 +49.5mm rims are well within an inch of the struts with tires on them.
With 225/50's they are mighty close!
245/45's require 10mm spacers, fender rolling, and still nearly touch the struts!

My 16x7.5 rims have a 43mm offset. Most of the popular 16x7 rims have 40mm. I've run 205's, but nothing wider, so I'm not sure if that would work.

Might rub on the fender lip... Might be fixed by rolling the lip, or might not.





Yes, positive offset will be towards the center. So the 35mm offset will give a wider track, so the wheels will probably rub the fender lips, since my 18x8 with 40mm rub a little. What's the bolt pattern?
