The book is a slap in the face (of sorts) to all Christians. If a similar book were written about Jews (or "gasp" Islam!) we'd be hearing the outcry.
Still, I'm a reasonable person, and I believe in free speech. So, read the book all you want, but do the research. If it sparks questions, try to get them answered. Don't walk around believing this crap at face value.
