I found his writing style and word choices to be mundane. Dan Brown knew his target audience and wrote to there level. His book was entertaining, gimmicky, but entertaining, I'll give him that.
Took way too many literature classes in college to fufill my arts & letters requirement and area of focus requirement while getting my BS.
