Jam a rag inside to protect it. Stick some needle nose pliers in and open them as far as you can. Twist it clockwise and counter clockwise while pulling to get them out. Mine were a pain. Used anti seize before putting them back in. I thought they were way too quiet in so I prefer them out. Its nice to have both options though.
Don't forget the allen screw on the bottom. I had to use a file to smooth the hole as it scraped on the resonater while I tried to remove it.
