Kind of hard to describe - pretty much the same sound, just much louder and a lot more drone.
To take out the resonator tips:
- Spray with WD40 and let it sit for a bit
- Wear thick gloves
- Use either needle nose pliers or a small prybar
- Sit on the ground, brace 1 or both feet on the muffler and start pulling!
