Just an idea what it would look like IF they did it. With the exception of round foglights and a few emblems oh and defintely some better body mouldings, what other signature SVT characteristics would there be?

I would think a better engine, perhaps HIDs, duals, sporty leather bucket seats, and prolly a sport tuned suspention. THe car really doesn't need better bumpers and side skirt, it looks pretty good that way. Still it needs something but I dunno what.

the pics of the car look bad-ass but it is a BIG car. I was checking one out at the dealer and was a bit suprised at how big it actually is. especially when you consider how much power is pushing it 
with more power it could definitely could be competition for the impala ss, as if anyone is buying those 
someone mentioned sharing parts with the Mustang. If Ford did this with a sedan, they'd be able to seriously undercut the competition based on cost to build alone. they should build some kind of sedan based on the Mustang using many of the same parts.

The Ford 500/ Mercury Montego are all new cars, not brought over from Australia like the GTO. Those cars are purely RWD and would be bad-ass if they came to our shores. I think Ford is looking at the GTO and saying "why bother bringing the Falcon over here?!", can you blame them

Looks like its Closely Based on the Mk3 mondeo
of which the ST220 is a 3litre and puts out 220bhp standard with 290-300 Easily Obtained with a few tweeks

How about a 4 door mondeo body on an 05' mustang cobra chassis. Intependent RWD 400 HP Mondeo.

The austrailian V6 falcon is actually a turbocharged inline 6 and make about 10-15 hp less than the V8 and weighs less to boot.
