Ford SVO... doesn't exist and hasn't existed for quite some time. The parent group for SVT, Ford Racing, & Advanced Product Creation is the "Ford Performance Group."
The SVT division is going through a restructuring process to allow it to grow within the market, its far from dead.
Coletti retired after achieving a life long goal, affording him to be able to step away while it career was at a high point.
SVT Lightning is not cancelled, it is postponed.
SVT Cobra is still on track for an '06 release, no pre-christmas temporary hold like you mention.
