I have a 96 Contour 4 Cyl 2.0l engine. 251K miles. My wife lovinly refers to her as the beast. Well As of New Years Eve she up and died while on the highway. Engine Simply cut out. All other electric is fine. Turns over but does not even try to catch. No sputter no nothing. Pulled a plug and had spark. Also had Gas. Checked the throttle and not stuck. I had the Ignition coil replaced in October. I measure the resistance of the primary coils and they are within specs. Secondary coils have continuity. I can hear the fuel pump run when I turn the key. Last I checked. Gas + spark + air = fire. I'm stuck. Went looking for the Ignition control module. Either I can't find it(Don't know where it would be located) or It is part of the PCM. Any Ideas. any help would be greatly appreciated
