Well, after more than 4yrs on this board without posting any pics of my system, I thought I should share.

Pioneer Premier 740MP head unit and a Clarion Sirius tuner. The on/off switch is to manually raise/lower the antenna, as the Pioneer HU wants it up whenever it's on (regardless of source).

Here's where I mounted the Sirius antenna. Works great and is very discreet.

Here's a pic of the 4ch Lanzar Rack amp that powers my system. It was $79 and puts around 80w to the components and 250w to the sub. I've got a 2ch Lanzar Rack amp in the closet that will eventually take over sub duty, and I'll use the 4ch to bi-amp the components.

Here is my Lambda Acoustics PB-12LE in its custom sealed enclosure (about 2ft^3). Although it's hard to tell in the pic, it takes up very little trunk space. It's shaped like a triangle and is about 4" deep on top and 10" deep on bottom. I've still got to put a grill on it for protection.

Finally, here is a pic of my Vifa Neo's flushed into the door. I went through something like 4 tweets in that spot before finding some that sound perfect there. Behind the grill are some 7" Vifa PL's and some Soundstream Exact passive crossovers.

Overall, it's not a very flashy system. It's performance is great, though. I'd estimate that I've got around $600 in this system.

That's one of the best theft deterrents, though How is the amp mounted to the deck?

Amp is mounted to the bottom of the rear deck with some elbow brackets. It looks kinda neat at night with the knobs lit up.

That's actually the grill (in chrome) I'm planning on using. Just waiting to need some more stuff from PE to put an order together.

So, you're happy with the tweeters mounted in that location?

I see those little cut-outs in the door panel everytime I pull them off, and i get tempted to try out components in the front.

Doesn't your leg muffle the sound? Because my knee sits right about there when I drive.

Overall, looks to be a very solid system.

It took something like 4 tries to find the right tweets for that location. The Vifa Neo's have great off-axis response, so they aren't as affected by the position. My leg does block a little bit of the sound, but it's very minimal.
