Well, I bought a warranty at the dealer for $2K extra (just in case I broke something, like this). What I'm figuring is they should return it to the condition I purchased it in. If not, no problem, but I'm probly gonna have to [censored] at them if they play the aftermarket part. Also the dealer checked the box for "supercharger/turbocharger" on the warranty info... I pointed it out to the dealer, but the salesman was like "oh, well that shouldn't matter".
All I know is it's "smoked". He did refer to the "aftermarket differential" as being the problem.
There was a rattling sound with the clutch engaged (and the shafts turning, obviously), and it still had the rattle after it stopped moving.
Maybe all this snow fu*ked it up, or maybe b/c the driver's tire has a little less tread than the other.
