Speedometers become terribly inaccurate on our cars at higher speeds, so it's possible he could have been going about 112 and the speedo reads 120. Maybe he also has diff tires sizes from stock?

i've heard that speedo's are 5- 10 mph off when you get that high..i know i've had mine to 120 moh on the speedo and felt like i could go faster..would love to try..the zetec sounds sooo nice when its revving that high...
96 zetec gl.dynomax exhaust(self bent) KKM intake..Bridgestone Potenza RE-910's...other mods also 87' Ford Thunderbird..Now my daily driver ( the wife uses the contour mostly) true dual exhaust with the super mystery mod.(hey there not even there!) tinted windows and stereo upgrade. the $200 car is starting to be a great car
