Tazmanian fuzzy taile mountain deer sound so funny to me... is that a fo real animal? what about the rudolph mongolian two tooth deer,,, that fo real too? We just got some deer here and we shoots at em. Even at the zoo, we just run away quickly when we're dun.

I've hit a small doe once with a 90 Accord (broke headlight/dented fender) and had some large deer headbutt the rear driver's quarter panel of my 96 GL while doing 50MPH (must have been a doe due to no damage there, needless I went sideways and straight into the opposite ditch, no damage to the Contour). Had a close call while delivering pizza in the GL, saw the deer running and slammed on the brakes... would have nailed them if I braked any later.
Coming back here after going home for the holidays I would have hit 2 deer that were in the left lane (good thing I was in the right) in Wyoming. Not too long after that in Montana I saw a buck with a huge rack(?) standing in the median watching me go by.
They told us not to swerve or slam on brakes here (unless it's something like a moose) and just hit the animal, otherwise may end up in the ditch and possibly more damage than just hitting them. Of course this was for gov't vehicles, though.
