I talked to the man today. Told him I was concerned about people coming to my home and seeing all the dead animals. A very uncomfortable conversation. He said he had not been out to that part of his property in a long while but that when he found the time he�d go take a look. He explained that sometimes poachers have been a problem and that sometimes people just go poking into stuff that�s none of their damn business.
I complimented him on his fine farm and expressed my desire to be a good neighbor.
Well... he didn�t waste any time. There was a younger man (his son?) on a tractor with a front loader out there no more than an hour later. All the dead deer are gone and so is the tent. I must have struck a nerve.
Unbelievably perfect weather today.
As far as I am concerned this is now a "dead" issue.
