While you might enjoy watching them walk through the woods, deer can become pests very quickly. If they are eating his crops, destroying his lawn, chasing his pets, etc. I can see him wanting to get rid of them. Like I said though, leaving the rotting bodies laying there is just asking for disease.
That being said, if you know that he is a reasonable person, talk to him at first. Tell him you are disturbed at seeing the dead bodies every time you drive home, and that it's asking for disease. I would be real careful about ratting him out, for such a violation can bring prison time for him. Sending your neighbor to prison for a month or two is a great way to get a huge fued going on. Remember, you are using his property as a driveway. I know you have a right to it because of the 50ft easement, but you still have to respect the guy enough to confront him before you go to the police/gamewarden/etc. He may just tell you why he was doing it, it could very well be a good reason, and he might stop doing it if he knows you are seeing whats going on and its bothering you.
This sounds reasonable as a first action on your part Jed...
